Access Guide - London Theatres

London Theatre Access Guide

It is important that everyone’s visit to West End theatres should be as accessible as possible. The majority of London’s theatres have been modified to allow audiences of all abilities to enjoy the variety of entertainment on offer every night.

Theatre facilities often include step-free access to seats, quiet performances, hearing loop systems, and wheelchair-specific areas.

We have compiled a wealth of information regarding the accessibility features of many of London’s theatres, including information about accessible toilets, sound-amplification systems, levels of access and more.

Some of this information is from the Society of London Theatre’s Access Guide, which you can find here, along with details of Accessible Performances in the West End.

Other useful resources include Transport for London’s Accessibility information; the Access in London website; and the Parking for Bluebadges site.
