Theatre history

The Menier Chocolate Factory theatre is housed in a former factory owned by the Menier Chocolate Company and built in 1870.

The building became derelict in the 1980’s before reopening as a theatre space on 10 November 2004 with a production of Murderer by Anthony Shaffer.
