Theatre History

The Kiln Theatre is an off-West End theatre located in Kilburn, North London. Since 1980 the Kiln has presented a wide range of plays reflecting the cultural diversity of the area, as well as new writing, political work and verbatim reconstructions of public inquiries.

The venue was originally called the Tricycle Theatre, opening in 1980 as the permanent home of the Wakefield Tricycle Company.

The theatre’s name was changed from the Tricycle to the Kiln Theatre in April 2018.
