Other The Other Palace Theatre facts

The Other Palace is built on the site of Charlotte Chapel which opened in 1766, and was converted into a cinema called the St. James' Picture Theatre in 1924. It later became the Westminster Theatre, hosting live theatre events, opening on 7 October 1931 with a production of James Bridie's The Anatomist. Demolished and destroyed in 2002. This new theatre opened as the St James Theatre in 2012, and was renamed The Other Palace in 2016.
