Fantastically Great Women Who Changed the World is a hit new musical from the producers of Six, playing at The Other Palace theatre in London.

An inspiring feminist musical, Fantastically Great Women Who Changed the World tells the sometimes forgotten or untold histories of women who have played a major part in shaping our world.

Celebrated dramatist Chris Bush (Standing at the Sky’s Edge) and No.1 hit songwriter Miranda Cooper (Girls Aloud, Sugababes) adapt suffragette relative Kate Pankhurst’s best-selling book with music by Miranda Cooper and Jennifer Decilveo (Miley Cyrus, Ben Platt) and direction by Amy Hodge (The National).

With characters and songs that pack a popstar punch, this thrilling show is not to be missed.

A talented cast includes Meg Hateley (Mamma Mia!), Charlotte Jaconelli (Sunset Boulevard), Anelisa Lamola (Once on This Island), Aaliyah Monk (School of Rock), Georgia Grant-Anderson (Demon Dentist), and Elena Breschi (Kindertransport).

Winner of Best Show for Children & Young People at the 2022 UK Theatre Awards.

Fantastically Great Women Who Changed the World is playing at The Other Palace in London from 20 July to 8 September 2024.

Based on the popular books by suffragette descendant Kate Pankhurst, celebrated – and often forgotten – women from history are brought to life on stage, from Rosa Parks to Sacagawea, Amelia Earhart to Marie Curie, Mary Seacole to Frida Kahlo and Jane Austen, and Pankhurst’s own relative Emmeline.

Join young Jade as she breaks away from her group to take a peek behind the scenes at the not yet open Gallery of Greatness, where she meets the original and incredible wonder women: Frida Kahlo, Rosa Parks, Amelia Earhart, Marie Curie, Mary Seacole, Emmeline Pankhurst to name just a few.  Your journey through the lives of some of history’s greatest icons starts right here!

Expect original songs, live music and evocative choreography.
