Winner of 8 Tony Awards, including Best Musical
Following record-breaking runs on Broadway, Canada’s Citadel Theatre and the UK’s National Theatre, Hadestown is rumoured to be returning to London’s West End.
Winner of 8 Tony Award, including Best Musical, Rachel Chavkin and Anaïs Mitchell’s haunting journey through the underworld is a musical must see.
Celebrated singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell and director Rachel Chavkin have transformed Mitchell’s acclaimed concept album into a genre-defying new musical that mixes modern American folk music with vintage New Orleans jazz to reimagine a sweeping ancient tale.
“Musically it’s a feast — full of folksy melancholy and heartache, yet also packed with gospel, dirty funk and New Orleans jazz” – Evening Standard.
Producers have confirmed that Hadestown is coming to London in 2024. Sign-up to be the first to hear about tickets.
