This sparkling celebration for the festive season features music from Noel Coward including London Pride, Don’t Let’s Be Beastly to the Germans and other songs from The Blitz era.
The show also includes Christmas classics including poetry from writers including Ben Jonson, Thomas Hardy, Dylan Thomas, Louisa May Alcott and Charles Dickens.
Written and Directed by Nick Hutchison, Noel Coward’s Christmas Spirits features a stellar cast including Stefan Bednarczyk, Issy Van Randwyck and Charlotte Wakefield.
THE STORY
London, December 1940: the bombs rain down in the Blitz, and Britain faces up to Christmas under fire. In his Mayfair flat, Noël Coward uses his latest creation, Madam Arcati, the visionary medium, to summon up voices that tell of the enduring spirit of Christmas through the ages. Join The Master for a bittersweet festive journey, told through song, poetry and prose, from across the centuries and across the world.
