Legendary pop group ABBA stage a fabulous new concert in London

ABBA – the world’s most successful pop group of all time – present their extraordinary new concert in London.

Featuring all of their classic hits, plus new songs from their ABBA Voyage album, the show is the sensation of the year.

Blurring the lines between the physical and digital, see the magic of ABBA brought to life using the latest in motion capture technology.

ABBA has sold nearly 400 million albums worldwide, with 17 No. 1 hits and over 16 million weekly global streams, making them one of the world’s most successful music acts of all time. And their songs – including Waterloo, The Winner Takes It All, Dancing Queen and Super Trouper, have become the soundtrack to multiple generations.

ABBA Voyage is a spectacular, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to relive the fun and fabulous music of ABBA.

The ABBA Voyage concert is now booking to 26 May 2024.

Are ABBA in the show?

Well, kind of.ABBA Voyage will see Agnetha, Anni-Frid, Björn and Benny perform digitally with a live 10-piece band, all in a brand new, purpose-built arena.

The digital versions of the four ABBA legends have been created by using motion-capture and performance techniques based on how the actual fab four actually move and perform. Disney’s Hollywood special effects company Industrial Light & Magic has then taken this and created stunning, full size avatars of the four, who will perform live with the band.

The show is nothing like you have ever seen on stage before.

Where is the ABBA Voyage concert?

The concert is playing in a brand new venue called ABBA Arena, a state-of-the-art 3,000 capacity space located in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London.

Who are the creative team of ABBA Voyage?

The ABBA Voyage concert is staged by super producers Svana Gisla (David Bowie Blackstar/Lazarus, Beyoncé and Jay Z for HBO, Springsteen and I) and Ludvig Andersson (And Then We Danced, Yung Lean – “In My Head”, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again), and co-executive producer Johan Renck (Spaceman, David Bowie Blackstar/Lazarus, Chernobyl).

The director of the show is Baillie Walsh, who has done everything from Flashbacks of a Fool and Being James Bond, to Springsteen and I. And the show is choreographed by Wayne McGregor (The Royal Ballet, Company Wayne McGregor, Paris Opera Ballet).
