Photos are out for Magic at the Musicals, Magic Radio’s annual celebration of musical theatre at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
This year’s concert took place last Sunday, 28 September 2025.
Magic Radio, who organises the show, confirmed on Sunday that the full show will be broadcast on Magic FM, from 5pm on Sunday 5 October 2025, and then available on demand on the Rayo App.
Magic at the Musicals celebrates the best of musical theatre, and was this year hosted by Mel Giedroyc and West End star Ruthie Henshall.

Magic at the Musicals – 2025 Line-up of stars
This year’s line-up of West End stars was impressive, with a huge number of major West End and touring shows represented.

- Sidonie Smith and Sasha Monique performing Run To You from The Bodyguard
- Ruthie Henshall performing So What from Cabaret
- Eva Noblezada performing Maybe This Time from Cabaret

Performers included Ava Brennan, the new Nancy in Cameron Mackintosh’s hit revival of Oliver!; Sam Oladeinde from Les Misérables in London; Caden Brauch from Back to the Future The Musical; and Jay Perry, star of Hamilton.
Other shows taking part included West End long-runners Mamma Mia!, Cabaret, Matilda The Musical and Disney’s The Lion King; new shows Disney’s Hercules, Just For One Day – The Live Aid Musical, and The Producers; and other big-hitters Starlight Express, The Phantom of the Opera and MJ The Musical.
There were also performances from the stars of touring productions The Bodyguard, and Tina – The Tina Turner Musical; and the Bristol Old Vic’s Starter for Ten starring Mel Giedroyc.
Also back for 2025 is Magic Radio’s West End Christmas, taking place at the London Palladium on 15 November 2025, hosted by West End stars Lucie Jones and David Hunter.
