The Producers musical in London
Mel Brooks’ Tony Award-winning musical The Producers is now playing at the Garrick Theatre following its acclaimed, sold-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory.
Hailed as ★★★★★ “the funniest show in London” (The Standard), this hit West End revival was nominated for four 2026 Olivier Awards, including Best Musical Revival.
Directed by Patrick Marber (Leopoldstadt), this “musical riot of the century” (Daily Mail) follows Broadway producer Max Bialystock and timid accountant Leo Bloom as they attempt to stage the biggest flop in theatre history.
Andy Nyman and Marc Antolin lead the cast alongside Joanna Woodward and Trevor Ashley.
The Producers is booking at the Garrick Theatre until 19 September 2026.
What is The Producers about?
Broadway producer Max Bialystock teams up with nervous accountant Leo Bloom to stage the worst musical ever written – then run away with the investors’ money.
Their chosen production? The spectacularly misguided Springtime for Hitler.
But when the show unexpectedly becomes a smash hit, their perfect scam quickly spirals out of control.
What to expect at The Producers
Winner of a record-breaking 12 Tony Awards, The Producers remains one of the West End’s funniest nights out.
From outrageous musical numbers to brilliantly over-the-top performances, Mel Brooks’ classic comedy delivers big laughs and Broadway spectacle at the Garrick Theatre.
