West End star Alexandra Burke and the cast of major new London show I’m Every Woman – The Chaka Khan Musical gave a riotous performance on Britain’s Got Talent at the weekend (Saturday 25 April 2026).
It was the first guest act to perform in this year’s semi-final live shows of Britain’s Got Talent on ITV.
The high-energy new show that celebrates the life and music of the legendary Chaka Khan announced on Friday a return to London, playing the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre this summer, from 22 July to 27 September 2026.

A TV showcase
Fresh from a celebrated run at the Hackney Empire last month, and ahead of the show returning to London this summer, the cast performed a medley of Chaka Khan’s iconic hits including ‘I Feel For You’ and the iconic ‘I’m Every Woman’.
Alexandra Burke, whose stage credits include Sister Act and The Bodyguard, portrays Chaka Khan in the hit new show, which charts the singer’s meteoric rise from the Black Panther Party to global solo superstardom.

I’m Every Woman is fully endorsed by Chaka Khan herself. The musical features a book by Nia T. Hill and direction by Racky Plews, weaving together a story of music, love, and betrayal alongside a legendary soundtrack.
The musical is packed with Chaka’s genre-defining hits including “I Feel For You,” “Ain’t Nobody,” and the titular anthem “I’m Every Woman.”

Big Night of Musicals
Earlier this year Alexandra Burke also performed as Chaka Khan in Big Night of Musicals 2026 – the National Lottery’s annual concert celebrating all things musical theatre.
Alexandra and the cast performed the finale of the concert, which took place at the AO Arena in Manchester, and was broadcast on the BBC last month. You can watch the show on BBC iPlayer.
