Based on the life story and music of Chaka Khan, I’m Every Woman – The Chaka Khan Musical is coming to London’s Hackney Empire from 20 to 25 March 2026.

What’s the show about? I’m Every Woman – The Chaka Khan Musical celebrates Grammy-winning singer Chaka Khan’s rise to fame – from the Black Panther Party to Rufus and solo superstardom, the production features Khan’s greatest hits, including I’m Every Woman, I Feel For You, Tell Me Something Good, Ain’t Nobody, Sweet Thing, Higher Love and Through The Fire.

  • I’m Every Woman – The Chaka Khan Musical has a book by Nia T. Hill, and is directed by Racky Plews, with choreography by Ebony Clarke.
  • The new show is backed by Chaka Khan herself, and produced by Adrian Grant (Thriller Live).
  • The show was originally scheduled for the Peacock Theatre in London, but due to unexpected building works at the theatre, has now moved to the Hackney Empire.
