The Society of London Theatre has revealed the presenters to appear at this year’s 2025 Olivier Awards, taking place this Sunday.

The annual awards will take place at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 6 April 2025. ITV has also confirmed the timing of the broadcast on Sunday, with a highlights programme airing on ITV1 and STV at 10.15pm on Sunday 6 April, and then available on catch-up on ITVX and STV Player. Magic Radio are also broadcasting highlights on Sunday, starting from 8pm.

Presenters of this year’s Olivier Awards will include Hayley Atwell and Tom Hiddleston, who are both appearing in Much Ado About Nothing at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane; Cate Blanchett and Tom Burke who are appearing in The Seagull at the Barbican Theatre; Ewan McGregor and Elizabeth Debicki, who are starring in My Master Builder at the Wyndham’s Theatre; Jane Krakowski and Jesse Tyler Ferguson starring in Here We Are at the National Theatre; Corbin Bleu, who is set to appear in The Great Gatsby at London Coliseum; Chris O’Dowd, star of The Brightening Air at The Old Vic; Martin Freeman who is about to star in The Fifth Step at @sohoplace; Celia Imrie, currently appearing in Backstroke at the Donmar Warehouse; Samantha Barks, fresh from her Masked Singer success and forthcoming concert at the London Palladium; 2023 Olivier Award nominee Rose Ayling-Ellis; Marianne Elliot, who is directing Nicola Walker in The Unbelievers at the Royal Court Theatre; plus Naomi Campbell, Idris Elba, Shobana Jeyasingh, Elaine Paige, Harriet Scott, Gok Wan, Bryn Terfel and Jacqueline Wilson.

Olivier Awards 2025 - Presenters

Nominations for the awards were announced earlier this month, with Fiddler on the Roof scoring the most nominations with 13 in total, alongside new dramas Giant and The Years which tied for most nominated play with 5 nominations each.

Last week SOLT announced the featured performances at this year’s awards, who are nominees of the Best New Musical and Best Musical Revival categories.

This year there will be performances from Best New Musical nominees The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, MJ The Musical, Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet Of 1812, and Why Am I So Single?; and also Best Musical Revival nominees Fiddler on the Roof, Oliver! and Starlight Express.

The fourth Best Musical Revival nominee, Hello, Dolly! starring Imelda Staunton, is not currently announced to perform.

Other performances will include this year’s hosts, West End and Broadway stars Billy Porter and Beverley Knight, who will open the show with a big musical number.

Further performances are to be revealed.

This year’s awards will once again be broadcast on ITV1 and on catch-up on ITVX, on the night of the awards from 10.15pm. There will also be highlights coverage of the awards on Magic Radio from 8pm; and TikTok will return to provide Green Carpet coverage as the official mobile entertainment platform.
