Musical Con, billed as the world’s biggest musical theatre fan convention, has announced the schedule for this year’s event at the ExCel centre in London.
Back for its third year, the convention will run at the ExCel in London on 19 and 20 October 2024.
Shows appearing include Oliver!, Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera, Figaro, Why Am I So Single?, Little Piece of You, Fly More Than You Fall, LoveStuck and Hadestown.
A starry line-up of over 100 special guests have been signed up for the fan event, including West End and Broadway stars Todrick Hall (Burlesque, Chicago, Kinky Boots), Layton Williams (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Billy Elliot), Lucie Jones (Wicked, Waitress, Les Misérables), Shanay Holmes (Oliver!, Get Up Stand Up, The Bodyguard), and Stevie Doc and Tobias Turley (Mamma Mia!).
This year’s Guest of Honour will be Tony, Grammy and Emmy award winner André De Shields (Hadestown, The Wiz).

The 10,000 square metre event promises to feature over 100 hours of programming over the weekend, including a festival-style main stage for performances and interviews with the stars and creatives.
There are also plenty of fan-related content, including Cosplay, Lip Sync, Star of Musical Con competitions, Show Off the game show, and fan meets. The expansive Theatreland exhibition has a huge marketplace full of stagey businesses, experiences, and photo opportunities from shows, including Disney’s Hercules, Mary Poppins, Matilda The Musical, and Andrew Lloyd Webber Musicals.
