About Matilda the Musical

Matilda the Musical follows the story of Matilda Wormwood, an extraordinary little girl who finds solace and magic within the pages of her books. Despite her brilliance, Matilda is belittled by her dim-witted parents; her father even insists on calling her a boy while mocking her stupidity for preferring reading over the telly – and her hostile headmistress, the wicked Miss Trunchbull.

Matilda may be reclusive but she has an ever-growing imagination and very sharp mind, and with caring teacher Miss Honey Matilda dreams of a better life, daring to take a stand against unjust forces and to grasp her destiny in her own, tiny hands.
