Production photos have been released for the new production of Samuel Beckett’s comedy Endgame at the Theatre Royal Bath.
Directed by Lindsay Posner, Endgame is now playing in the Ustinov Studio at Theatre Royal Bath until 4 October 2025.
Endgame stars Mathew Horne (Gavin & Stacey) as Clov, Selina Cadell (Doc Martin) as Nell, Douglas Hodge (La Cage Aux Folles, The Great) as Hamm, and Clive Francis (I’m Sorry, Prime Minister) as Nagg.

Joining Lindsay Posner in the creative team is Set & Costume Designer Jon Bausor, Lighting Designer Charles Balfour, Sound Designer Ella Wahlström, Movement Director Hannes Langolf, Casting Director Ginny Schiller CDG, and Assistant Director Amy Reade.
Lindsay Posner’s other recent Ustinov Theatre productions include The Deep Blue Sea and A View From The Bridge, both of which have transferred into the West End.
Samuel Beckett is one of the most important writers of the 20th century. Waiting for Godot was recently revived at the Theatre Royal Haymarket starring Ben Whishaw and Lucian Msamati; and Krapp’s Last Tape recently played in London starring Stephen Rea, and in York starring Gary Oldman.
Clive Francis is set to star in new West End comedy I’m Sorry, Prime Minister as Sir Humphrey Appleby, with Griff Rhys Jones as Jim Hacker, at the Apollo Theatre in London from 30 January 2026.
Endgame is playing at the Theatre Royal Bath’s Ustinov Studio from 4 September to 4 October 2025.
