An all-star cast

Packed with Zeller’s trademark psychological insight and biting humour, The Truth is a wickedly entertaining comedy that explores the secrets we tell others, and the lies we tell ourselves.

This star-driven revival brings the play to live with new verve as it follows Michel, a man embroiled in an affair with his best friend’s wife while attempting to convince everyone around him that honesty is overrated. As his web of deception grows increasingly tangled, it becomes unclear exactly who is deceiving who.

Starring in the play are:

  • Tony Award-nominated Stephen Mangan (The Split, Episodes ) as Michel
  • Comedy icon Ardal O’Hanlon (Father Ted, How to Get to Heaven from Belfast) as Paul
  • Sarah Hadland (Mirandam, The Job Lot) as Alice
  • Olivier Award-winner Janie Dee as Laurence

Directed by Lindsay Posner (Noises Off, A View from the Bridge, Equus), the production is a sophisticated, fast-paced comedy about adultery and loyalty.
