The Society of London Theatre has announced some of the performances to take place during next Sunday’s Olivier Awards 2025.
The annual awards will take place at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 6 April 2025.
Nominations for the awards were announced earlier this month, with Fiddler on the Roof scoring the most nominations with 13 in total, alongside new dramas Giant and The Years which tied for most nominated play with 5 nominations each.
Every year at the awards there are featured performances from all of the Best New Musical and Best Musical Revival nominees.
So this year there will be performances from Best New Musical nominees The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, MJ The Musical, Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet Of 1812, and Why Am I So Single?; and also Best Musical Revival nominees Fiddler on the Roof, Oliver! and Starlight Express.
The fourth Best Musical Revival nominee, Hello, Dolly! starring Imelda Staunton, is not currently announced to perform.
Other performances will include this year’s hosts, West End and Broadway stars Billy Porter and Beverley Knight, who will open the show with a big musical number.
Further performances, plus awards presenters, are to be revealed.
This year’s awards will once again be broadcast on ITV1 and on catch-up on ITVX, on the night of the awards. There will also be live coverage of the awards on Magic Radio; and TikTok will return to provide Green Carpet coverage as the official mobile entertainment platform.
