WHAT’S THE STORY?

Every child in every school has one Christmas wish, to star in a Nativity, and at St Bernadette’s School they’re attempting to mount a musical version! Only trouble is teacher Mr Maddens has promised that a Hollywood producer is coming to see the show to turn it into a film.

Join him, his teaching assistant the crazy Mr Poppy, hilarious children and a whole lot of sparkle and shine as they struggle to make everyone’s Christmas wish come true.

The cast is led by Simon Lipkin as ‘Mr Poppy” alongside  Sharon Osbourne, father and daughter Danny* and Dani Dyer, TV and radio presenter Rylan Clark-Neal*.

The adult cast is completed by Scott Garnham, Ashleigh Gray, Jonathan Bourne, Charles Brunton, Jamie Chapman, Penelope Woodman, Dawn Buckland, Connor Ewing, Kade Ferraiolo, Amy Oxley, Helena Pipe and Billy Roberts.

Sharon Osbourne, Dani and Danny Dyer to star in ‘Nativity the Musical’ in London
Sharon Osbourne boards the cast of Nativity the Musical at the Eventim Apollo, alongside Dani and Danny Dyer, Rylan Clark-Neal and Simon Lipkin. Sharon Osbourne will play 'Crystal Collins' in the production – the mother-in-law to Dannny Dyer's character 'Harry Parker'. Best known as a media personality and manager of her husband, heavy-metal rock star Ozzy Osbourne, Osbourne was introduced to tv audiences via the MTV reality series 'The Osbournes' in the early 2000s and has since starred as a judge on talent series 'The X-Factor' in Britain and 'America's Got Talent' in the US, as well as being a co-host on US daytime chat show 'The Talk'. Dyer appeared in the production last year as ‘The Hollywood Producer’ alongside his daughter and Love Island winner Dani Dyer, who returns to play Polly Parker. X-Factor’s Rylan Clark-Neal to star in Nativity The Musical
Rylan Clark-Neal will make his London stage debut in NATIVITY!THE MUSICAL which returns to the Eventim Apollo for Christmas 2019. Rylan will play 'The Critic' alongside Simon Lipkin who returns to the role of 'Mr Poppy' for the third successive year at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London. Rylan exploded on the entertainment scene after appearing on ITV’s “X Factor” in 2012, where he finished in fifth place, and has since established himself as a popular tv and radio presenter. Following winning “Celebrity Big Brother” in 2013, Rylan went on to present “Big Brother’s Bit on the Side” and “Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side” and was a host on ITV 2’s “Xtra Factor”. He is regularly seen presenting on ITV’s “This Morning” and recently appeared on BBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice” and Channel 4’s “Celebrity Bake Off”. Rylan said "‘I’m so excited to be joining the company of “Nativity! The Musical”. ‘The Critic’ is such a terrific role. Danny Dyer and Joe Brand to star in Nativity! The Musical
Danny Dyer and Joe Brand will star alongside Simon Lipkin in the London run of Nativity! The Musical this Christmas. Dyer is currently gracing tv screens as ‘Mick Carter’ in BBC ONE’s EastEnders, a role which has won him ‘Best Soap Actor’ at this month’s ‘TV Choice Awards whilst Brand is the host of tv show Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice. Danny Dyer made his breakthrough in the cult 90s film Human Traffic and has since gone on to play numerous hard men in films such as ‘The Business’ and ‘The Football Factory’. Following his run in Nativity, he will next be seen on stage with Martin Freeman in Harold Pinter's The Dumb Waiter. Dyer's previous stage credits Include, ‘Kurt and Sid’ at the Trafalgar Studios, ‘No Man’s Land’ at The National Theatre, ‘Celebration’, ‘Certain Young Men’ and ‘The Homecoming, all at The Almeida Theatre. Danny was thrown into the spotlight earlier this year when his daughter was cast in hit reality series Love Island which she subsequently won. Full casting has been announced for Birmingham Repertory Theatre's Nativity The Musical The adult cast will be led by Simon Lipkin (Wind In The Willows, Dr Seuss's The Lorax), alongside Sarah Earnshaw, Andy Brady, Jemma Churchill, Jamie Chapman, and Daniel Boys.
