Sharon Osbourne boards the cast of Nativity the Musical at the Eventim Apollo, alongside Dani and Danny Dyer, Rylan Clark-Neal and Simon Lipkin.
Sharon Osbourne will play ‘Crystal Collins’ in the production – the mother-in-law to Dannny Dyer’s character ‘Harry Parker’.
Best known as a media personality and manager of her husband, heavy-metal rock star Ozzy Osbourne, Osbourne was introduced to tv audiences via the MTV reality series ‘The Osbournes’ in the early 2000s and has since starred as a judge on talent series ‘The X-Factor‘ in Britain and ‘America’s Got Talent‘ in the US, as well as being a co-host on US daytime chat show ‘The Talk’.
Dyer appeared in the production last year as ‘The Hollywood Producer’ alongside his daughter and Love Island winner Dani Dyer, who returns to play Polly Parker.
West End musical theatre star Simon Lipkin will reprise his role as ‘Mr Poppy’ alongside Rylan Clark-Neal as ‘The Critic’, Scott Garnham as ‘Mr Maddens’ and Ashleigh Gray as ‘Jennifer Lore’.
Completing the cast are Jonathan Bourne, Charles Brunton, Jamie Chapman, Penelope Woodman, Dawn Buckland, Connor Ewing, Kade Ferraiolo, Amy Oxley, Helena Pipe and Billy Roberts.
Nativity the Musical, based on the film by Debbie Isitt, is a feel-good comedy musical that tells the story of a primary school teacher who stages a musical version of the nativity with his class with the promise that a Hollywood producer will see the production.
