Hollywood actress Amy Adams makes her West End stage debut in The Glass Menagerie.

Six-time Academy Award nominee and two-time Golden Globe winner Amy Adams  (American Hustle, Enchanted, Vice) will star in Tennessee Williams’ heart-rending masterpiece at the Duke of York’s Theatre in 2022.

Award-winning director Jeremy Herrin’s (Wolf Hall Trilogy, People Places and Things, This House) bold new staging explores the fragility and fallibility of memory in Williams’s semi-autobiographical masterpiece.

Amy Adams takes on the role of Amanda Wingfield – family matriarch and a former southern belle living precariously with her two children, Tom and Laura, in a space between past and present.

The Glass Menagerie tickets are booking from 23 May 2022 until 28 August 2022 at the Duke of York’s Theatre.

Former Southern Belle Amanda Wingfield enlists the help of son Tom to find a husband for her fragile daughter Laura. But will the long-awaited ‘gentleman caller’ fulfil or shatter the family’s delicate dreams?
