First-look photos are in for The Cherry Orchard at the Donmar Warehouse in London.
Starring award-winning German actress Nina Hoss (Homeland, The Defeated) and Adeel Akhtar (The Night Manager, The Job Lot) as Liubov Ranevskaya and Ermolai Lopakhin, this new adaptation from Benedict Andrews who also directs, welcomes the theatre critics tonight.
The cast includes Sarah Amankwah (Charlotta), Nathan Armarkwei Laryea (Yasha), David Ganly (Boris Simeonov-Pishchik), Michael Gould (Gaev), Éanna Hardwicke (Semyon Epikhodov), Daniel Monks (Pyotr Trofimov), Marli Siu (Varya), Sadie Soverall (Anya), Posy Sterling (Dunyasha), and June Watson (Firs).
The creative team includes: set design by Magda Willi and costumes by Merle Hensel.
