The epic musical returns to the West End

Following a sell-out UK and Ireland tour across the UK, this epic musical arrives at the Prince Edward Theatre for a strictly limited season, running from 13 May 2027 until January 2028.

More than a decade since the musical was last staged in the capital, Miss Saigon is back and bigger than ever, with new staging and a score that features hit songs including ‘The Heat is On,’ ‘The Movie in My Mind,’ ‘Last Night of the World’ and ‘The American Dream.’

Miss Saigon has won 75 major awards internationally and has been performed in 33 countries and 15 languages, seen by over 38 million people in 378 cities worldwide since it originally premiered in September 1989, going on to become the 16th longest-running musical in West End history.

In the last days of the Vietnam War, 17 year-old Kim is forced to work in a Saigon bar run by a notorious character known as The Engineer. There she meets and falls in love with an American G.I. named Chris but they are torn apart by the fall of Saigon. For 3 years, Kim goes on an epic journey of survival to find her way back to Chris who has no idea he’s fathered a son.
