Theatre History
The Coronet Theatre is a Grade II listed theatre in London’s Notting Hill, presenting an eclectic programme of theatre, film, dance, music, poetry and visual art.
Built in 1898 originally as a theatre, it became the Coronet Cinema in 1923.
The modern company was founded in Westbourne Grove, West London, and opened in September 2010. In June 2014, it was announced that the Coronet had been acquired by nearby fringe theatre The Print Room, which planned to make it its new home.
In May 2019, Print Room at the Coronet re-branded the company to the original 1898 name The Coronet Theatre.
