Olivier Awards confirms more performances including Anything Goes and Cabaret

Anything Goes, Cabaret, Spring Awakening to perform at the awards

Stars announced for the 2022 Olivier Awards including Anne-Marie Duff, Jonathan Pryce, Keala Settle, Sam Tutty, Kit Harington, Max Harwood, and Ruthie Henshall

Special tribute to Stephen Sondheim planned

The Society of London Theatre has announced more details of its forthcoming ceremony for the 2022 Olivier Awards.

Coming up this Sunday, 10 April 2022 at the Royal Albert Hall, the awards show will be hosted by actor and comedian Jason Manford.

Highlights of the awards ceremony will be broadcast on ITV at 10:15pm on the night, plus the whole ceremony will be broadcast live by Magic Radio, hosted by Ruthie Henshall and Alice Arnold. Live coverage starts at 5:30pm.

Outside the UK, the Olivier Awards with Mastercard will stream around the world at 10:15pm EST (7:15pm ET) on YouTube.

As previously announced, all five Best New Musical nominees will be performing at the ceremony: Back To The Future – The Musical, The Drifters Girl, Frozen The Musical, Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical and Moulin Rouge! The Musical.

The show will also feature performances from the three Best Musical Revival nominees: Anything Goes, Cabaret and Spring Awakening, and a special performance from Life Of Pi, which is nominated in nine categories including Best New Play.

The Olivier Awards ceremony will end with a musical tribute to legendary theatre composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim, who died last year aged 91. Performers paying tribute are to be announced.

Stars billed to be taking part in the awards show include Anne-Marie Duff, Jonathan Pryce, Keala Settle, Noma Dumezweni, Beverley Knight, Bonnie Langford, Miriam-Teak Lee, Jade Anouka, Baroness Dame Floella Benjamin, Don Black, Tom Felton, Kit Harington, Max Harwood, Ruthie Henshall, Cassidy Janson, Oti Mabuse, Dame Arlene Phillips, Dr Ranj Singh,Giles Terera, Sam Tutty, Eric Underwood, Layton Williams – and more to be announced.

The Green Carpet arrivals will also be streamed on the Official London Theatre YouTube channel from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, with hosts Emma B, Angellica Bell, Frank DiLella and Anita Rani chatting to the stars.
