Acclaimed musical theatre composer and song-writer Drew Gasparini’s new contemporary musical We Aren’t Kids Anymore is coming to the West End’s Savoy Theatre in London for one night only.

A star-studded cast includes Aimie Atkinson (SIX The Musical, Pretty Woman), Dylan Mulvaney (FAGHAG), Melanie La Barrie (Hadestown, & Juliet), Jenna Lee James (Frozen, We Will Rock You), Nigel Harman (Casualty, EastEnders, BBC; Downton Abbey, ITV), Cassius Hackforth (Jay Kelly, Netflix), and Jeevan Braich (Starlight Express).

We Aren’t Kids Anymore has a book, music and lyrics by Drew Gasparini, who is best known for writing songs for season 2 of Smash, as well as the scores of the Broadway musicals The Karate Kid The Musical, Skittles Commercial: The Broadway Musical, and It’s Kind of a Funny Story.

We Aren’t Kids Anymore is a dynamic and thoughtful musical exploring the profound feeling of never truly growing up, and the complexities of having a dream, chasing that dream, and the rocky path between the two.

Following the concert performance of We Aren’t Kids Anymore, the second act of the night will see Gasparini in concert, presenting some of the best work from his extensive musical career, joined by some very special guests.

The story of this uplifting musical is told from 5 distinct perspectives, crossing age, generation and gender, exploring the complexities of having a dream, chasing that dream, and the rocky path between the two. At its core, this musical reminds us that, no matter who you are, growing up is still a journey of guesses made in the dark.
