Production images of the hit West End comedy The Upstart Crow starring Peepshow‘s David Mitchell and Game of Thrones‘ Gemma Whelan have been released.
Mitchell, who makes his West End debut playing William Shakespeare, received glowing reviews for his comic portrayal of the legendary bard. Whelan also puts in a stunning comic performance, you might even see her do a cartwheel in a corset.
Ben Elton’s hilarious stage adaptation of his tv series also stars Mark Heap (Friday Night Dinner), Helen Monks (Raised By Wolves ) English comedian Rob Rouse, Steve Speirs (Stella, Sadie J), Danielle Phillips (Father Brown, Ready Player One), Jason Callender (Holby City) and Rachel Summers.
