Lauren Samuels | Actress – Bio, Stage & Screen Credits

Lauren Samuels is a British actress, singer and podcaster best known for her performances in musical theatre.

She will next appear in the 2026 international tour of Sting’s musical, The Last Ship playing the role of Meg.

Lauren first came to national attention in 2010 as a finalist on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s BBC One talent search Over The Rainbow, where she finished in third place in the competition to find Dorothy for The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium. Her journey through the live shows captured the hearts of millions and launched her professional career on the musical theatre stage.

Her theatre credits include Elphaba in Wicked (US Tour), Sandy in Grease (Piccadilly Theatre), Jules in Bend It Like Beckham (Phoenix Theatre – WhatsOnStage Award nomination), Cathy in The Last Five Years (Tabard Theatre), Henry V (Barn Theatre), and Scaramouche in We Will Rock You (Dominion Theatre – 10th Anniversary World Arena Tour).

Lauren trained at the Guildford School of Acting, where her stage roles included Esta in Moby Dick! The Musical, Grace in Anyone Can Whistle, Sarah in Bitter Sweet, and Frances in The Matchgirls.

On screen, Lauren has appeared in the feature film Key of Genius (Awesome Sauce Entertainment).
