Conceived by Rent composer Jonathan Larson and written by the award-winning Julia Jordan with music and lyrics by singer-songwriter Juliana Nash, this is a boldly brilliant and explosive new musical that’s set to be London’s hottest new sensation.
Murder Ballad will run from 29 September 2016 until 3 December 2016 at the Arts Theatre.
STORY
Set to pop-rock tunes, Murder Ballad follows Sara (Ellis), a New Yorker who is torn between her dangerous ex-boyfriend and her reliable husband – a treacherous love triangle with the inevitable tragic ending.
CAST
Starring Kerry Ellis (Wicked), Ramin Karimloo (Phantom of the Opera), Victoria Hamilton–Barritt (In the Heights) and Norman Bowman (Guys and Dolls).
Completing the cast are Natalie McQueen (alternate Sara/cover Narrator), and Matthew Harvey (cover Michael and Tom).
