The Menier Chocolate Factory in London has announced casting for its revival of The Holy Rosenbergs.
Written by Ryan Craig (Charlotte and Theodore, What We Did to Weinstein), The Holy Rosenbergs is playing at the Menier Chocolate Factory from 27 February to 2 May 2026.
The production is directed by Lindsay Posner (The Deep Blue Sea, A View From the Bridge).
The Holy Rosenbergs stars Dan Fredenburgh (Holby City, Bad Girls, An Inspector Calls) as Saul, Nitai Levi (The Band’s Visit) as Jonny, Adrian Lukis (Versailles, The Crown) as Sir Stephen, Dorothea Myer-Bennett (Leopoldstadt, The Chelsea Detective) as Ruth, Tracy-Ann Oberman (EastEnders, Friday Night Dinner, The Merchant of Venice 1936) as Lesley, Nicholas Woodeson (The Mirror and The Light, The Rings of Power) as David, and Alex Zur (The Merchant of Venice 1936) as Simon.
In The Holy Rosenbergs, the Rosenberg family of Edgware are in crisis. David is desperately trying to save a failing catering business; Lesley is trying to save a failing husband, and their daughter Ruth is facing public vilification for investigating war crimes in Gaza for the UN, is she failing her community? Will any of them succeed?
Joining Lindsay Posner in the creative team are: Design by Tim Shortall; Lighting design by Charles Balfour; and
Sound design by Yvonne Gilbert.
The drama had its world premiere at the National Theatre in 2011.
Other forthcoming productions at the Menier include Peter Shaffer’s Equus in a co-production with Theatre Royal Bath from 8 May 2026, also directed by Lindsay Posner.
Currently playing at the Menier Chocolate Factory is Noel Coward’s Fallen Angels starring Janie Dee and Alexandra Gilbreath, until 21 February 2026.
The Menier’s five-star production of The Producers is also continuing its West End run at the Garrick Theatre in London.
