Smash-hit ABBA concert ABBA Voyage celebrated its third anniversary this week, 27 May 2025, in London.
ABBA Voyage is booking at ABBA Arena in London to January 2026.
Fans of the show, celebrity guests, and even ABBA band members Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad all gathered in East London to celebrate the milestone.
A special VIP after-party saw performances from Benny Andersson, Elbow‘s Guy Garvey and Elvis Costello.

To celebrate the 3rd birthday of the show, ABBA has included a number of new songs to the ABBA Voyage setlist, with ‘Super Trouper’, ‘The Name Of The Game’, ‘Money, Money, Money’ and ‘Take A Chance On Me’ now added to the set. Also, ‘When All Is Said And Done’ has been removed.
We also hear that once the new setlist is up and running, ‘Super Trouper’ will alternate with ‘Take A Chance On Me’ in the show.

ABBA said in a statement: “When we first opened we never imagined that we’d still be in London three years on. We’re very grateful that so many of you have joined us. Of course, the reason for us being able to sustain our concert for so long is because of our incredible audience. As we say in Sweden… Vilken resa!”
ABBA’s Björn Ulvaeus also told NME that: “We did motion capture more songs that we have in this concert. There are songs in the pipeline which might be animated and ‘ABBA-tarred’ in the future. Who knows? There might be a new song every now and then somewhere – but I can’t give you any details as of right now.”

To celebrate the third birthday of ABBA Voyage, producers of the show have released brand new video footage.
In terms of ABBA Voyage remaining in London, he said: “We hope to stay in this venue for as long as we can. We hope they’ll have us for many years, and we might build other replicas of this in other places: Asia, Australia, North America. There are lots and promoters and cities that we’re talking to at the moment about that.”
The extraordinary ABBA Voyage concert features pop legends ABBA as you have never seen them before. The 90 minute show is a visual and musical feast, defying all expectations of what a virtual concert can be, and bringing ABBA back to a whole new generation.
ABBA Voyage took nearly six years to create, developing new technology and working with Hollywood visual effects company Industrial Light & Magic on virtual avatars of the four ABBA stars, using sophisticated motion-capture technology to show the fabulous four as they looked in 1979. A live band also accompanies the ABBA avatars.
The concert is housed in the state-of-the-art ABBA Arena in East London.
The show has sold millions of tickets since it opened in May 2022, and has scored incredible reviews from critics, with five-stars from the Guardian and Mirror, and the Guardian hailing the show as “jaw-dropping”.
In a social and economic impact assessment released in November 2024 by consultancy Sound Diplomacy, it was reported that ABBA Voyage contributed £1.40 billion in turnover to the UK economy and an estimated social value of £46.5 million, between May 2022 and May 2024.
ABBA Voyage has been created with Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Frida Lyngstad, directed by Baillie Walsh, and produced by Svana Gisla and Ludvig Andersson.
ABBA Voyage is playing at the ABBA Arena in London, booking to January 2026.
