Initial casting has been announced for new musical White Rose, coming to the Marylebone Theatre in London next month.

White Rose The Musical is set to star Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream winner Tobias Turley (Mamma Mia!) and Collette Guitart (Why Am I So Single?).

The new show is based on the incredible true story of a small group of university students in Munich, Germany, who secretly met to write, print, and distribute leaflets exposing Hitler’s lies and Nazi deception.

Their courage in the face of tyranny would ultimately lead to their making the ultimate sacrifice in this hard-hitting but ultimately uplifting new musical.

The musical boasts music by Natalie Brice, and book and lyrics by Brian Belding, and is directed by Will Nunziata.

Tobias Turley is a rising West End theatre star who won the 2023 ITV talent competition Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream, winning the role of Sky in the West End production of Mamma Mia!. His previous credits include Kurt Kelly in Heathers the Musical at The Other Palace, Diesel in West Side Story at the Ljubljana Festival, and the world tour of Strictly’s Giovanni Pernice, where he was a lead male vocalist and dancer.

Collette Guitart was recently in the West End premiere production of Why Am I So Single? at the Garrick Theatre. Her previous theatre credits include Just for One Day at The Old Vic; Rock Follies at Chichester Festival Theatre; SIX The Musical; & Juliet; and Bat Out of Hell in the West End.

White Rose The Musical is playing at Marylebone Theatre in London from 27 February to 13 April 2025.

Currently playing at the Marylebone Theatre is What We Talk About When We Talk About Anne Frank starring Joshua Malina, until 15 February 2025.
