Further casting has been announced for this summer’s concert production Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic musical Carousel at London’s Royal Festival Hall.
Already announced Carousel cast include Jamie Muscato (Moulin Rouge! The Musical) as Billy Bigelow, Christine Allado (Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends, The Prince of Egypt) as Julie Jordan, and Rebecca Caine (The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables) as Nettie Fowler.
They will be joined by Ahmed Hamad (Sunset Boulevard, Standing at the Sky’s Edge) as Enoch Snow, Charlotte Jaconelli (Britain’s Got Talent, A Midsummer Night’s Dream – RSC) as Carrie Pipperidge, David Mildon (Dealer’s Choice, Dom – The Play) as the Narrator, Tim Prottey-Jones (Saving Grace, Once, Kinky Boots) as Jigger Craigin, and Verity Quade (Carousel, Kinky Boots) as Mrs.Mullin.
The concert will also feature the Trinity Laban musical theatre ensemble, and a 30-piece orchestra.
Carousel in concert will be directed by Emma Butler (Side Show in Concert), and with musical direction by Adam Hoskins (Once in Concert).
The show features some of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s best-loved songs including ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’, ‘Mister Snow’ and ‘If I Loved You’.
Carousel will play the Royal Festival Hall for one night only on 13 July 2024.
