A new staged concert of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic musical Carousel is coming to London’s Royal Festival Hall in July.
Jamie Muscato (Moulin Rouge! The Musical) will play Billy Bigelow, alongside Christine Allado (Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends, The Prince of Egypt) as Julie Jordan, and Rebecca Caine (The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables) as Nettie Fowler.
More cast is to be announced.
Carousel in concert will be directed by Emma Butler (Side Show in Concert), and with musical direction by Adam Hoskins (Once in Concert).
The show features some of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s best-loved songs including ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’, ‘Mister Snow’ and ‘If I Loved You’.
Jamie Muscato is also playing a solo concert this summer at Cadogan Hall, on 21 and 22 July 2024.
Carousel will play the Royal Festival Hall for one night only on 13 July 2024.
