Production photos have been released for Lindsay Posner’s revival of Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge starring Dominic West.
The sold-out run at the Ustinov Studio at the Theatre Royal Bath is now playing to 16 March 2024. A View From the Bridge then transfers to London’s Theatre Royal Haymarket, from 23 May to 3 August 2024.
Arthur Miller’s modern classic is directed by Lindsay Posner, and stars BAFTA Award winner Dominic West (The Wire, The Crown, The Affair) as Eddie, Olivier and Tony Award nominee Kate Fleetwood (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Macbeth, London Road) as Beatrice, along with BAFTA Cymru Award winner Callum Scott Howells (It’s A Sin, Cabaret) as Rodolpho.
The cast also includes Nia Towle (The Ocean at the End of the Lane) as Catherine and Martin Marquez (Hotel Babylon, Les Miserables) as Alfieri, alongside Pierro Niel-Mee Marco as Jimmy Gladdon Louis, Michael Cusick as Mike, Santino Smith as Tony, Rob Pomfret as 1st Officer, Kieton Saunders-Browne as 2nd Officer, and Joseph Passafaro as Submarine.
The creative team also includes Design by Peter McKintosh, Lighting Design by Paul Pyant, Sound Design by Gregory Clarke, Hair, wigs and Make-up Design by Carole Hancock, music by Ed Lewis, Associate Director George Jibson, Casting Director Ginny Schiller CDG, Dialect Coach Michaela Kennen, Fight Director Bret Yount, Movement Director Joanna Goodwin, and Assistant Director Emma Howlett.
Pulitzer Prize-winner Arthur Miller is one of the most highly regarded American writers of the 20th Century, with work including All My Sons, Death of a Salesman, and The Crucible. A View from the Bridge is a passionate study of one man’s place in the close-knit Italian-American community in 1950s New York.
This production is produced by Theatre Royal Bath Productions with Len Blavatnik and Danny Cohen for Access Entertainment.
Currently playing at the Theatre Royal Haymarket is The Picture of Dorian Gray starring Succession’s Sarah Snook, until 11 May 2024; and the return of popular children’s show The Tiger Who Came To Tea, from 1 July to 8 September 2023. Also announced for September is a new production of Waiting for Godot starring Lucian Msamati and Ben Whishaw.
