Sister Act The Musical, which is coming to the West End’s Dominion Theatre in March 2024, has revealed more cast to join Beverley Knight and Ruth Jones.
The show starring Beverley Knight is running from 15 March to 8 June 2024 at the Dominion Theatre.
It was announced earlier this month that Gavin and Stacey star Ruth Jones has been cast in the show as Mother Superior, alongside West End star Beverley Knight as Deloris van Cartier.
They will be joined by TV and stage star Lesley Joseph (Birds of a Feather, Annie) as Sister Mary Lazarus, Brit Award-winning singer Lemar as Curtis Jackson, Olivier Award winner Clive Rowe (Guys and Dolls) returning to his Olivier-nominated role as Eddie Souther, West End favourite Lizzie Bea (Heathers The Musical) returning as Sister Mary Robert, Olivier Award nominee Alison Jiear (Jerry Springer The Opera) as Sister Mary Patrick, and star of Regent Park’s La Cage aux Folles Carl Mullaney as Monsignor O’Hara.
Lesley Joseph will also play the role of Mother Superior at certain performances, including 9 to 13 May 2024.
From 10 June 2024, the role of Deloris Van Cartier will be played by best-selling artist and musical theatre star Alexandra Burke (The Bodyguard), with Lesley Joseph as Sister Mary Lazarus, Lizzie Bea as Sister Mary Robert, and further casting to be announced soon.
Sister Act has original score by by Tony and 8-time Oscar winner Alan Menken (Disney’s Aladdin, Enchanted), lyrics by Glenn Slater, book by Bill and Cheri Steinkellner with additional book material by Douglas Carter Beane.
The show is directed by Bill Buckhurst, with choreography by Alistair David, Set and Costume Design by Morgan Large, Musical Direction by Neil MacDonald, Lighting Design by Tim Mitchell, Sound Design by Tom Marshall and Musical Supervision by Stephen Brooker. Casting is by Stuart Burt.

Sister Act The Musical will play the Dominion Theatre from 15 March 2024 to 31 August 2024.
