New immersive Christmas Party experience Velvet Pines is coming to London.
From award-winning immersive specialists Swamp Motel (Saint Jude, The Drop, Isklander), spend a night snowed in at eccentric mountain hotel Velvet Pines, in this major new dinner and theatre show.
The ultimate festive group party experience, enjoy inventive cocktails and a mouth-watering three-course meal developed by MasterChef 2023 Finalist Omar Foster. Omar is known for daring flavour combinations, creative plating style and always pushing the limits of food.
An on offer is a full-throttle cabaret from some of the best acts in the business – all in a secret warehouse location.
With a blizzard rolling in from the mountains, and reports of yetis in the hills, the evening promises to be eventful, and full of surprises!
Swamp Motel has enlisted a vibrant and vivacious cast of performers including epic cabaret from Drag icon Mahatma Khandi, aerial artist Angeliki Nikolakaki and top juggler Ian Marchant AKA The Gentleman Juggler.
The talented acts and impressive hosts will be keeping an eye over the resort including actor and comedian, Will Sebag-Montefiore, Offie nominated comedy and musical actress Ash Weir, contemporary theatre-maker and performer Nicki Hobday and actor Toby Manley.
Velvet Pines is playing at the Ugly Duck from 9 November to 23 December 2023.

What's the story of Velvet Pines?
Welcome to the alpine town of Velvet Pines. The storm of the century is rolling in and we’re cut off from rescue. You’ll need to brave the blizzard and take shelter the hotel, populated by a cast of charming characters devoted to keeping your festive spirits up, even if the power in the town is down.
Fortunately, this plucky ensemble have everything you need for an unforgettable Christmas party. Enjoy a drinks reception in the hotel…reception, then take your seat in the grand lodge, dripping in 70’s inspired design. The staff will be working hard to keep the emergency generator humming along as the dining hall plays host to a troupe of daring cabaret acts, a charismatic host and a truly sumptuous menu of incredible Christmas food and cocktails.
Eat, drink, dance and wait out the storm surrounded by immersive, fully festive entertainment.
