KIN is the new British musical billed as Blood Brothers meets Hadestown meets Carrie!
This brand new show is inspired by shocking true-life events that took place in a small American town in the 1980’s, and boasts a fabulously original 80s pop-inspired score by Emil Dale and Stefan Kelk.
The show enjoyed a great reaction from audiences and critics after two sold-out performances at The Other Palace theatre in London.
KIN The Musical will perform in a staged concert version from 1 to 4 November 20234 at the off-West End venue Theatro Technis in King’s Cross, London.
The concert performance will star Joseph Peacock (Titanic the Musical, The Osmonds, The Last Ship, Bat Out of Hell) as Noah.
What's the story of KIN A New Musical?
Inspired by a true story, when a controversial cult leader moves into an old ranch in a small town, tensions with the locals reaches boiling point! As the conflict escalates, the shocking depths of their clash are exposed, with a startling revelation: Noah, the mayor’s son, has found himself entangled within the cult’s grip.
Noah, a skilled rock climber, is broken and physically scarred after a tragic accident but Ashville, the small southern American town he lives in, has other problems.
The KIN, a controversial community attracting people from all over the world, has purchased an old ranch in the little town, causing unthinkable conflict with the townsfolk. Misfit Noah, the mayor’s son, desperate to prove himself to his father, is forced to take matters into his own hands and save the town from disaster. Noah climbs down the side of the cliff, the only entrance and secretly joins the community. What Noah doesn’t know, is that Cora, a Kinsperson, is going to burst into his world in a riot of colour. And what neither of them know, is that they are going to change each other’s lives forever.
