Full casting has been announced for The Full Monty UK tour
Joining the previously announced Danny Hatchard (EastEnders) as Gaz, Jake Quickenden (Hair, Footloose) as Guy, Bill Ward (Coronation Street) as Gerald, Neil Hurst (All Creatures Great and Small) as Dave, Ben Onwukwe (The Shawshank Redemption) as Horse and Nicholas Prasad (Around the World in 80 Days) as Lomper will be Oliver Joseph Brooke, Katy Dean, Laura Matthews, Danny Mellor, Adam Porter Smith, Suzanne Procter, Alice Schofield, and Leyon Stolz-Hunter. The young actors playing the role of Nathan on tour will be Cass Dempsey, Theo Hills, Rowan Poulton and Jack Wisniewski.
The forthcoming UK tour of Simon Beaufoy’s The Full Monty, announced earlier this year, is timed to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the hit movie version of the story.
The 25th Anniversary tour begins at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham on 14 September 2023, and visit cities and towns including Coventry York, Southampton, Glasgow, Cardiff, Belfast, Manchester and Leicester. New dates have also been added in Bath and Canterbury.
As in the 1997 smash hit film, this brand-new production is a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs, laughs and heartbreak.
The show is directed by Michael Gyngell, with choreography and intimacy co-ordination by Ian West, Set and Costume design is by Jasmine Swann, Lighting design by Andrew Exeter and Sound design by Chris Whybrow. The Casting Director is Marc Frankum.
The Full Monty is produced by the Everyman Theatre Cheltenham & Buxton Opera House in association with Mark Goucher and David Pugh.
