Chichester Festival Theatre revives Stephen Sondheim’s Tony Award-winning musical Assassins.

Prepare to be captivated as Chichester Festival Theatre proudly presents a stunning revival of Stephen Sondheim’s critically acclaimed musical, Assassins. This riveting production, starring the incredibly talented Danny Mac (Pretty Woman The Musical), brings to life the daring stories of infamous historical figures who shared one chilling goal: assassinating the President of the United States.

Directed by Polly Findlay (White Noise, A Number, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie), Sondheim and John Weidman’s biting musical comedy features musical influences ranging from The Carpenters and James Taylor to American folk songs and Scott Joplin.

This thought-provoking and darkly humorous show will challenge your perception of history, morality, and the human psyche.

Some succeed, some fail, but all are bound by their relentless pursuit of a place in the history books.
