American Psycho cast includes Arty Froushan, Emily Barber, Tanisha Spring, Daniel Bravo & Jack Butterworth
The Almeida Theatre in London has announced full casting for its forthcoming revival of American Psycho.
American Psycho is playing at the Almeida Theatre from 22 January to 14 March 2026.
Starring in the lead role of Patrick Bateman is rising star Arty Froushan (Daredevil: Born Again), who recently starred in the Almeida’s production of The Line of Beauty.
Arty Froushan’s other credits include Leopoldstadt (West End and Broadway), White Pearl (Royal Court), Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale, Daredevil: Born Again (Disney+), Carnival Row (Amazon), and House of the Dragon (HBO).
The cast also features West End stars Emily Barber (Operation Mincemeat) as Evelyn Williams, Tanisha Spring (A Christmas Carol, Moulin Rouge!), Daniel Bravo (Mean Girls, Cruel Intentions) as Paul Owen, and Jack Butterworth (Kiss Me, Kate) as Craig McDermott
The strong cast also includes Anastasia Martin (The Land of the Living) as Jean, Oli Higginson (Measure for Measure, RSC) as Timothy Price, Zheng Xi Yong as Luis Carruthers, Kim Ismay (Fanny) as Mrs Bateman, Alex James-Hatton (Newsies) as Sean Bateman, Posi Morakinyo (The Fear of 13) as David Van Patten, Joseph Mydell (Oedipus) as Detective Kimball, Asha Parker-Wallace (Burlesque The Musical) as Victoria / Ensemble, Hannah Yun Chamberlain (Sunset Boulevard) as Christine / Ensemble and Millie Mayhew (Wicked) as Sabrina / Ensemble.
The Ensemble also includes Liz Kamille (Cabaret), and the Swing is Samuel J Weir (Tina – The Tina Turner Musical).
The Almeida Theatre’s outgoing Artistic Director Rupert Goold is revisiting his critically acclaimed production of the cult hit musical thriller, based on Bret Easton Ellis’ infamous novel.
The show boasts a score by Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening) and a book by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Glee, Riverdale).
The wider creative team includes choreography by Lynne Page, set design by Es Devlin, costume design by Katrina Lindsay, lighting design by Jon Clark, sound design by Dan Moses Schreier, video design by Finn Ross, music supervisor David Shrubsole, musical director Ellen Campbell, and casting by Natalie Gallacher for Pippa Ailion and Natalie Gallacher Casting.
American Psycho runs from 22 January until 14 March 2026 at the Almeida Theatre, London.
