A brand new trailer has dropped of West End leading lady and music star Alexandra Burke as Deloris Van Cartier in Sister Act The Musical at the Dominion Theatre in London.

Also starring Lee Mead (Joseph, Wicked, We Will Rock You) as Eddie Souther, and Lesley Joseph (Birds of a Feather) as Mother Superior, don’t miss this joyous musical before it leaves London on 31 August 2024.

Alexandra Burke (The Bodyguard) has taken over from Beverly Knight in the lead role of Deloris Van Cartier in Sister Act. The show also stars singer-songwriter Lemar as Curtis Jackson, Lizzie Bea (Hairspray) as Sister Mary Robert, Lori Haley Fox as Sister Mary Lazarus, Alison Jiear (Britain’s Got Talent) as Sister Mary Patrick, and Carl Mullaney (La Cage Aux Folles) as Monsignor O’Hara.

The cast is completed by Caroline Bateson, Natalia Brown, Damian Buhagiar, Tricia Deighton, Lauren Hall, Chloe Hopcroft, Tom Hopcroft, Bradley Judge, Claudia Kariuki, Graham MacDuff, Castell Parker, Emma Ralston, Anne Smith, Michael Ward and Jermaine Woods.

Sister Act boasts an original score by by Tony and 8-time Oscar winner Alan Menken (Disney’s Aladdin, Enchanted), lyrics by Glenn Slater, book by Bill and Cheri Steinkellner with additional book material by Douglas Carter Beane.

The show is directed by Bill Buckhurst, with choreography by Alistair David, set design by Morgan Large, lighting design by Tim Mitchell, sound design by Tom Marshall, musical supervision by Stephen Brooker and casting is by Stuart Burt.

Sister Act The Musical is now playing at the Dominion Theatre in London’s West End until 31 August 2024.
