A New York Times Critic’s Pick, Primary Trust is an acclaimed new play by award-winning American writer and actor Eboni Booth, and directed by Olivier Award-winner Matthew Xia (Feeling Afraid As If Something Terrible Is Going To Happen, Hey Duggee – The Live Theatre Show).
The play is an absorbing and funny story about having the courage to change.
Primary Trust was playing at the Donmar Warehouse from 28 June to 24 August 2024.

Kenneth lives in a small town in upstate New York. For 15 years his life has been the same: by day, he works at the bookstore, in the evening, he drinks mai tais with his friend Bert. When the bookstore shuts down, Kenneth is forced out of his comfort zone to face a world he has long avoided.
