London’s West End musical & Juliet has partnered with Lucky Voice to create a dedicated karaoke playlist for fans wanting to sing-along at home.
The smash-hit musical is the first West End show to have its own exclusive playlist allowing fans to recreate the show with nothing more than a speak and their voice.
Songs from the show include some of the greatest hits from the last 30 years including “… Baby One More Time”, “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)”, “Love Me Like You Do”, “Confident”, “It’s My Life” and “Roar”.
Written by Swedish songwriter and record producer Max Martin for artists such as Britney Spears, Katie Perry and Back Street Boys, the songs have been re-orchestrated for musical theatre by Grammy & Tony award winner Bill Sherman whose work includes Lin-Manuel’s Hamilton and In The Heights.
The West End musical features an original story using Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, the famous bard and his wife Anne Hathaway, to create an alternate ending / new beginning for Juliet.
The musical comedy is written by Schitt’s Creek scribe David West Read with direction by Luke Sheppard.
