Richard Gadd’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe First award winning play Baby Reindeer will transfer to the Bush Theatre in London this October.

Written and performed by Gadd, with direction by Olivier Award-winner Jon Brittain (Rotterdam), Baby Reindeer is a chilling personal narrative exploring obsession, delusion, and the aftermath of a chance encounter.

In its five-star review, the Evening Standard called it ‘a haunting, unsettling monologue about the nature of obsession’ with the WhatsOnStage.com referring to the show as ‘utterly compelling’.

The Scotsman described Gadd as ‘a master narrator full of intelligent insight and sheer descriptive power’ with the stage calling his performance ‘majestic‘.

Gadd is a multi-award winning writer, performer, and actor. His previous Edinburgh Fringe shows include Monkey See Monkey Do, Waiting for Gaddot, Breaking Gadd, and Cheese & Crack Whores. Acting roles include BAFTA-nominated BBC2 single drama Against the Law, C4’s Humans series 3, BBC3’s Clique series 2 and E4’s Tripped series 1.

The shows creative team includes design by Cecilia Carey, sound design by Keegan Curran, lighting design by Peter Small and video design by Ben Bull.

Baby Reindeer will run from 9 October 2019 until 9 November 2019 at the Bush Theatre, London, with press night on 11 October 2019.
