Booking to 14 September 2019
Have you ever thought Hamlet would be comedy gold? Think again. Join a cast of Shakespearean actors as they take on their biggest challenge yet; to perform a Shakespearean tragedy with one drunk co-star.
Sh*t-faced Shakespeare is back for 2019 and they promise to be wilder, funnier, gorier, more outrageous and drunker than ever before!
These Fringe legends have toured the world, broken America, established themselves on London’s West End, won numerous awards, survived a zero star review in The Times and are now ready for their biggest challenge yet: Hamlet Prince of Denmark.
Sh*T-faced Shakespeare: Hamlet is booking from 2 August 2019 until 14 September 2019 at the Leicester Square Theatre, London.
WHAT’S THE STORY?
Featuring a cast of professional Shakespearean actors, see them tackle William Shakespeare’s Hamlet, with one performer selected to be intoxicated for up to 4 hours prior to show time. The remaining sober cast are then tasked with negotiating the play around whatever furious nonsense emerges from their drunken co-star. With plenty of foul language, outrageous behaviour, terrible singing and dangerous swordplay, you’ll have never seen Hamlet acted out like this.
