ON YOUR FEET! The Story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan will premiere at the London Coliseum in Summer 2019.

Direct from Broadway, this Tony nominated musical is based on the life on one of the most successful Latin crossover acts in American music, On Your Feet! follows the Estefans’ rise to fame from their childhood in Cuba, living on the streets of Miami and through to international superstardom.

This exhilarating musical features some of the most iconic pops songs of the era, including ‘Rhythm is Gonna Get You’, ‘Conga’, ‘Get On Your Feet’, ‘Don’t Want To Lose You Now’ and ‘1-2-3’.

Brought to life by a powerhouse creative team, On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan has a book by Academy Award® winner Alexander Dinelaris (Birdman), choreography by Olivier Award-winner Sergio Trujillo (Jersey Boys), direction by two-time Tony Award® winner Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde) and songs from Grammy Award winners Emilio and Gloria Estefan.

On Your Feet! is booking from 14 June 2019 until 31 August 2019 at the London Coliseum.

The cast  is lead by Christie Prades as ‘Gloria Estefan’ and George Ioannides as ‘Emilio Estefan’ and at certain performances the role of ‘Gloria Estefan’ will be played by Philippa Stefani. Madalena Alberto will play ‘Gloria Fajardo’, Karen Mann ‘Consuelo’.

‘On Your Feet!’ musical will return to London next summer

On Your Feet!, the Gloria Estefan juke box musical will return to London next summer. The Tony nominated show received its London stage premiere at the London Coliseum this summer where it played for 12 weeks from early June 2019. Producer Jamie Wilson said: "After our triumphant London run we are currently in exciting talks with theatre owners to bring the show back to London next year for a second summer...The love and support from the audiences in London has been amazing and we look forward to bringing this Miami party back in 2020." The West End production received glowing four-star reviews from critics including "a glorious night out with Gloria" (★★★★ Daily Mail), "the rhythm does really gets you" (★★★★ Guardian), "If hits like ‘Dr Beat’ and ‘Get on Your Feet’ can’t make you dance, then, no rhythm is gonna get you." The London production is about to embark on a UK tour which opens at the Birmingham Hippodrome, playing 3-7 September, followed by dates in Plymouth, Nottingham, Sunderland, Edinburgh, Sheffield, Wales, Manchester, Belfast Norwich, Canterbury, Cheltenham, Milton Keynes, Liverpool, Wimbledon, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Wolverhampton, Leeds, Southampton, Newcastle and Hull. On Your Feet, the jukebox musical based on the life of Emilio and Gloria Estefan is headed to the London Coliseum in summer 2019.
