POSH at the Pleasance Theatre

Sorry, this show is not currently booking.

OLD MONEY. NEW PROBLEMS. DIFFERENT GENDER.

Welcome to The Riot Club.

Darkly comic, and disgracefully entertaining, Laura Wade’s universally acclaimed play POSH, returns to the stage in a thrilling new production by Cressida Carré.

Now the riotous story of the Oxford student dining club, a fictionalised version of the infamous Bullingdon Club, will be reinvented for the first time by a company of all-female actors.

POSH will run from 29 March 2017 until 22 April 2017 at the Pleasance Theatre.

STORY

In the private dining room of a gastro pub, 10 young bloods with cut-glass vowels and deep pockets are meeting, intent on restoring their right to rule.

As members of an elite student dining society, they’re bunkering down for a wild night of debauchery, decadence and bloody good wine. But this isn’t just a jolly: they’re planning a revolution.

CAST

The cast features Serena Jennings, Lucy Aarden, Cassie Bradley, Alice Brittain, Molly Hanson, Verity Kirk, Macy Nyman, Toni Peach, Jessica Siân, Sarah Thom, Gabby Wong, Amani Zardoe.

CREATIVE

Directed by Cressida Carré with set & costume design by Sara Perks, co-costume design by Sarah Mills, lighting design by Derek Anderson and sound design Harry Barker.
