Check out the pictures of the first all-female production of Laura Wade’s POSH.

Laura Wade’s fictionalised version of the infamous Bullingdon Club is reinvented for the first time with an all-female cast.

Darkly comic, and disgracefully entertaining, it will see a cast of women occupying the 12 roles usually played by men and will be performed as it was initially written by Wade, using the male names and the “he” pronoun.

Portraying an elite Oxford group whose actions over the course of the play show them to be violent, sexist and self-entitled, Director Cressida Carré (Director) said “I am so looking forward to exploring the play. Gender equality, privilege and class are certainly topics which are prevalent today and it will be exciting to see what happens when these historically male characters are played by women.”

The productions stars Serena Jennings, Lucy Aarden, Cassie Bradley, Alice Brittain, Molly Hanson, Verity Kirk, Macy Nyman, Toni Peach, Jessica Siân, Sarah Thom, Gabby Wong and Amani Zardoe.

POSH will run from 29 March 2017 until 22 April 2017 at the Pleasance Theatre.
