Hamilton to hold open auditions for London production

Smash hit Broadway musical Hamilton is to hold open auditions for the forthcoming London production.

Producers are looking for versatile singer/actors who rap (and can move well) or hip-hop dancers (who are versatile in all forms of contemporary dance and can sing well).

They are looking for men and women in their 20s and 30s, of all ethnicities, to register for either the dance or singing auditions.

Auditions will take place in London week beginning 7 November 2016 with rehearsals beginning in August 2017.

Performers must have a UK/EU passport, and a full working visa for the duration of the contract which will be for one year.

The producers have stated they will not be seeing people for the role of King George.

Winner of 11 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Lin-Manuel Miranda‚Äôs Hamilton is a groundbreaking, one-for-the-ages tale of one of America’s founding fathers.

The production will re-open the Cameron Mackintosh’s Victoria Palace Theatre in October 2017 with tickets going on sale next month.
